Did you know that it is actually not that difficult to get a label to say ‘green’ or ‘organic’? It is actually very easy to make your own homemade green household cleansers.
To make a homemade glass cleaner at home add ¼ cup distilled vinegar and 1 quart of warm water. Mix these two ingredients together and pour into a spray bottle. You now have a homemade green glass cleaner.
To make a homemade rust remover sprinkle some salt on the rust then squeeze a lime over the salt on top of the rust until it is pretty well soaked. Let this mixture sit on the rust for two to three hours.
A homemade toilet bowl cleaner can be made quite easily by using one cup of borax and pouring the borax into the toilet bowl. Do this before bed and then let it sit in the toilet bowl over night. In the morning when you wake up you can scrub the toilet and flush.
For an all-purpose homemade household cleanser mix together 2 cups water with 1 ½ to 3 tsp. castille soap and 1 tsp. tea tree oil.
