As China being the second largest economy in the world and a major contributor to environmental issues like carbon emission, greenhouse gases, etc. they had to take carbon-intensity more seriously and implement various measures so as to promote and encourage Low Carbon living. I hope this initiative by China is not overlooked by other major economies in the world and sets an example for them to follow. I think it is high time we started taking nature and our planet earth seriously and do our bit about environment, sustainability, climate change, biodiversity, clean energy, green living and so on. You can measure, reduce and offset your carbon footprint; set up petitions, volunteering and fund-raising projects for your favourite causes; help create action plans for sustainable communities; buy a range of eco-friendly products and services; and network with other people who share a common interest in a low carbon, responsible lifestyle.
