Natural makeup is not any less likely to irritate your skin than synthetics, we did put chemicals in them for a reason. Actually, some of the naturals are MORE likely to irritate you skin, especially if not replaced on a regular basis; the lack of any preservatives makes them much more likely to grow harmful bacteria. Also, "hypoallergenic" and "natural" are both non regulated terms. This means that any company can claim to be hypoallergenic or natural. Many synthetics are also hypoallergenic; it only means that they contain none of the most common ingredients that cause allergic reactions. It does not mean that no one will have a reaction.
Many of the synthetics also add vitamin E and other beneficial vitamins and minerals to the products. There is nothing that is a match for everyone. Even among natural products you will find certain things amp up oiliness or dry out your skin. Cosmetics, no matter what anyone tells you, will never be a one type fits all product. Try everything and find what you like.
