That is a very good application for the Iphone. It helps you to be conscious of the gas, the water, and other expenses. I also have a power meter that I use to check my appliances at hoe to check how much power it actually consumes when plugged in. After taking power rating of all the equipment you will know which devices you are going to turn off or on at what time of the day, of the week to optimize you power bills. This is a good way to train ourselves for green living.

It is called Commute Greener!, and turns the iphone into a CO2 calculator that let you see your CO2 savings immediatly.
