Getting your kids to go green can be a little difficult because depending on their age they don’t quite understand the importance of going green.
Of course in many cases families raise the kids to be green from day one so the kids don’t know any differently.
If you are a teacher, parent, aunt or uncle and you have a child or children in your life that you would like to encourage to go green or be a little more environmentally conscious we have found several websites that may just help them do this.
There is a website called Recycle Zone (www.recyclezone.com) that is a great educational tool for kids of school ages. The site features Recycler the Rapping Robot and his musical debut as well.
Meet The Greens (www.meetthegreens.com) is a fun and interactive website about a family who is trying to go green themselves. The site also features an interactive blog for children.
The National Geographic has a kids’ website specially designed for kids and teaching kids about the importance of going green for the earth and the environment. National Geographic Kids can be found at kids.nationalgeographic.co.uk.
