According to reports, from US west coast to northern Siberia and South east Asia, trees are growing at higher latitudes and altitudes in response to warming of earth.

A study including 166 sites found that trees are advancing at more than half, while they are receding at just a couple of sites. For the first time, this particular shift is revealed by the first global analysis of treelines.

Researchers expected growing warming season is driving treelines to advance. But, in reality, the trees do not seem to be responding to warm summer temperatures, rather it is the increasing earth temperature that is pouring trees to expand their habitats.
