		<description>Harvard may actually be wrong. Joe Bastardi mentions that if the Pacific cools (opposite of global warming), then there will be less rain for California. When the pacific warms, California receives lots of rain. So the opposite is true - global warming has an impact on reducing wildfires (as a result of drought like conditions), and global cooling has an impact on increasing wildfires.</description>

		<description>I have looked at the historical record, and for millions of years wildfires have been caused mostly by lightning strikes.  Therefore, it is clear that there is no reason to blame increasing wildfires on anthropogenic causes.
